Waiting for good weather

Probably the hardest thing to do is sit and wait for weather to break when you know you got several good areas to hunt. I will be posting soon as I go.

After finding the badge Iexpanded out to a area were a old house once stood but is not there anymore and you would never have know it was there if you were not told about it. I found a lot of scrap metal ans a ols mason jar lid but after moving out further I found about 10" deep this button.

January hunt finds a 4-H badge?

It was a cold day and I decided to go to my grandmothers house to look around and sort of test out my new Ace 350 and get used to it.After watching almost every Youtube video I could find about it and the simular Ace 250 I started to figure out the cool little device. I was in the front yard and got a hit about 8 inches or so in the ground. After pinpointing it  and digging a 3 inch plug to my surprise was this brass 4 leaf clover shaped badge with the Kentucky state seal on it. If anyone who see's this can tell me what it was for please comment.

2011 and a new metal detector
